Susan Gay Graduate Student Conference Travel Scholarship
About this AMTE Award
The Susan Gay Graduate Student Conference Travel Scholarship, named after Susan Gay in honor of her extraordinary service to AMTE over many years as conference director, president, secretary, and board member-at-large, was established to provide graduate students financial support to attend the AMTE annual conference. Each year up to four graduate students will receive the award, which covers the cost of graduate student early registration and an additional $400 to offset the cost of attending the conference. To qualify for the scholarship, one must be enrolled in a doctoral program in mathematics education or a related field (e.g., curriculum and instruction) and making steady progress toward completion of a degree. Applications will be screened initially based on the content of the application and then placed into a lottery based on geographic location.
Applications
Graduate students can fill out an application for the Susan Gay AMTE Conference Travel Scholarship during the award submission period from May to mid-June.
