Fundraising Committee

The Fundraising Committee exists to advance AMTE’s mission by securing sustainable funding to support early career programs, the annual conference, and key organizational initiatives.

The Fundraising Committee leads the strategic development and implementation of AMTE’s fundraising efforts to ensure the organization’s long-term financial health and programmatic growth. By consolidating and expanding existing fundraising functions, the committee will proactively pursue diverse revenue sources—including grants, sponsorships, donations, and fundraising events. It will also work to enhance donor engagement, increase AMTE’s visibility among partners and supporters, and align fundraising efforts with the association’s broader goals and values.

Committee members may contribute to the following activities:

  • Create and maintain a fundraising strategy with short- and long-term goals
  • Identify and pursue grants, sponsorships, and donation opportunities
  • Coordinate fundraising campaigns around the annual conference, STaR program, and online platforms
  • Support donor stewardship and recognition programs
  • Assist with marketing and communication strategies to promote fundraising initiatives
  • Contribute to monthly meetings to evaluate progress and adjust strategies
  • Collaborate across AMTE leadership divisions to align fundraising with programmatic goals
